During his last trip to Asia, thepickytraveller visited Hong Kong and Singapore. Whilst Singapore is more diverse in many aspects (see my post), Hong Kong definitely is one of the world’s big cities to be visited and offers what could be described as a smooth approach to China for the Westerner tourist.
It may be difficult to find a high-end hotel with better quality/price ratio in Hong Kong. Ok, the location isn’t the best possible (though it’s not bad either). But you get cosy accommodation in a luxury hotel without the price tag that usually comes along.
Lung King Heen is one of Hong Kong’s 3-Michelin starred restaurants. In fact, it was the first Chinese restaurant in the world to receive 3 stars! Everybody knows Chinese cuisine, but we tend not to associate it with fine dining in the Western countries. At Lung King Heen you can give it a try without disappointment.
